7-Keto DHEA is a naturally occurring metabolite derived from DHEA (dehydroepiandrosterone). Unlike DHEA, 7-Keto DHEA is non-hormonal (does not convert into testosterone or estrogen). 7-Keto DHEA is being studied for its ability to support thermogenic enzymes that provide a pathway for heat production and energy burning which may be helpful for promoting weight loss.* 7 Keto-DHEA is also being studied for its possible immune enhancing and cognition-enhancing abilities.
Each capsule of Pure Encapsulations 7-Keto DHEA contains 25 mg of DHEA-Acetate-7-one.
Other ingredients include: Hypo-allergenic plant fiber.

Warning: There may be a potential interaction with Coumadin (a blood thinner). 7 Keto-DHEA has been shown to promote healthy platelet function and using the two together may have a synergistic blood thinning effect.
