The human gut contains trillions of bacteria, comprising over 400 species. The majority are beneficial but some can adversely effect the body’s own defenses. General Use One to two capsules twice daily with food. If taking two or more capsules daily, divide daily dose in two. Antibiotic Therapy Take four capsules daily, ideally at a different time of day from the antibiotics. If possible begin no later than taking the first antibiotic. Continue taking for at least two weeks after completion of the antibiotic course. For Travellers Take two capsules daily for one week before travel. Increase to 4 capsules daily during travel. Continue to take for at least two weeks following end of travel. If taking anti-malarials, continue for at least two weeks after completion of the course. Do not take with very hot food or very hot drinks.
