Nordic Naturals ProDHA (Strawberry Flavor)

ProDHA has natural strawberry flavor added to both the softgel and oil, making it a delicious way to ensure adequate intake of the essential brain nutrient, DHA.  
 
Research has shown that "Deficiencies of DHA may be responsible for abnormal signal transmission associated with learning disability, cognitive deficit, and visual dysfunction. These abnormalities in the signal transduction process can be partially corrected by supplementation with a diet enriched with DHA."(1) Another study showed that DHA "significantly enhances visual acuity maturation and cognitive function. ProDHA is encapsulated in easy-to-swallow 500 mg softgels and provides 50% DHA and 20% EPA. Molecularly distilled for purity and concentration, ProDHA has been further enhanced with enhanced lipid stabilizing antioxidants for superior freshness.  
 
This product is pharmaceutical grade (European Standards), molecularly distilled, and third party tested to document the absence of all environmental pollutants (no PCBs, dioxins, pesticides, or heavy metals).  
 
Each capsule of ProDHA contains 225 mg of DHA, 45 mg of EPA, 20 mg of other omega-3's, 12 mg oleic acid (omega 9) and 7.5 IU of mixed tocopherols. Other ingredients include: purified deep sea fish oil (from anchovies and sardines), soft gel capsule (gelatin, water, glycerin, strawberry essence), strawberry essence, d-alpha tocopherol, and rosemary extract.  
 
This product contains no gluten, yeast, milk derivatives, artificial colors or flavors. May contain traces of soy or derivatives.
